Accessibility Outside
The jacuzzi has been designed with wheelchair access in mind, having a ramped access to a wheelchair turning platform, a tub apron the same height above the platform as a wheelchair, & steps within the tub to aid entry & exit. Temperature varies through the day & evening & bubbles are optional! An underwater light provides a wondeful atmosphere at night.
The pool access is down steps (not a ladder). The shallow end depth is 1m which is level across the width of the pool & along about 2m of the length.
There are large fixed covered area offering day long shade. New for 2009, there is now an external wheelchair route linking the pool terrace with the parking area, including a cool covered terrace on the north side.
There are small single steps between the house floor level & the terraces outside. Ramps are fitted to these.
At night the pool terraces are lit with automatic lighting.
